Life is Full of Changes

On August 26th, Pastor Jerry preached from Malachi 3:6, Romans 1:25, and 1 Corinthians 15:51-52. Unfortunately, the recording of this message experienced some technical difficulties. In lieu of a podcast recording, please review these notes and be edified.

Do you see changes taking place in the world today?  (Yes)

Jesus made the statement, “Lo, I am with you always.”

What does this mean to you? (God doesn’t leave or change)

In a presidential speech, FDR made this statement, “The only thing we have to (fear) is (fear) itself.”

This statement changed the way many people were thinking in those days.

Napoleon Hill (a Kentucky cabin dweller) said, “If I look down on fear, I would still be living in a (small cabin) in (Kentucky).”

Napoleon Hill was the President’s speech writer.

We need to look (up) to God and not (down) on our fears.

Remember Malachi 3:6 — God doesn’t change.

The Scripture is full of examples of how God is changeless, but there is a great change coming!

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 says that our bodies will be raised!

“This old world will never hold me,

Any moment I’ll be gone.

for I’ve made my preparation,

And I have the wedding garment on!”
