First Annual Pi Day Celebration
In honor of Pi Day (March 14th), we had our own Pi(e) day today at church. People donated pies and we had a silent auction to benefit Harvest of Talents for World Hunger. Remember that all the money spent at these events goes to feed hungry people around the world.
This was our first annual Pie Day event, and it was a great success. There were 21 pies donated, and with more people than pies, the competition was fierce.
Thank you to all who donated pies and also to those who placed such generous bids. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to raise $409.
