Community Quilt Update
The last time we updated the progress of the quilt, we had just begun to piece the top together. After we finished that, we basted the quilt and drew a quilting design on the top with heat-erasable quilting pens. Then, the quilt was mounted to the frame for the hand quilting to begin.
During the quilting blitz last Saturday, the final turn was made of the quilt in the frame, which means we are nearing the end. Don’t forget to check out our photo album of the community quilt.
